Hi Emma I could not agree more. I am a director of a security company who had the unfortunate experience of selling our business to 1st Alert who then promptly reneged on the deal. We have recently been successful in obtaining legal judgement against him personally and the company for a sum of £80,000. Do you think we can find him though??? Any thoughts would be appreciated and I am sure could be mutually beneficial. I look forward to hearing from you.

Dave Oram who is MD of 1st Alert UK Ltd is a total scam artist. In addition to his alarm company, he started a building firm, Myriad Build. And, having known him for a number of years and having had two alarms installed by him, I booked him to build a porch on my new house. He took my deposit money of £2k and hasn't been seen or heard of by me since. He has admitted taking the money in court documents and was supposed to pay me back at £500 per month. He paid one installment and nothing since. He seems to enjoy making things difficult for others, which is a very alarming character defect. Do NOT have anything to do with this guy, whether it be alarms or building work. He is a liar and a thief and cannot be trusted on any level. I believe currently he is the only engineer at 1st Alert UK Ltd. He is breaking every single one of his monthly servicing contracts as he has no team to carry out any faults or servicing - they've all left him. He has also set up a company called Crime Cure Ltd, although he doesn't list himself as a director, his wife/partner, Asmae Hsaine is the only listed director, so make of that what you will.
