For over 8 years, companies around London, Southeast and Midlands have requested our services to help ensure the compliance of their products being shipped to their respective destinations. As an experienced inspector / auditor our role is to help identify and ensure the quality of the products being shipped is compliant and rectify issues that may arise due to non-compliance.We go beyond inspecting products; we aim to provide a complete package with a systemic and structured approach to our process of supporting our customers providing solutions. We manage our customers’ expectations by helping exporters ensure their products meet quality, health, and environmental safety standards of the importing countries via our partners. We provide compliance guidance, consultations for exporters exporting to a country that operates a PVoC programme. The reason for this is exporters arrange a pre-export audit and or inspection and find on the day their shipment has been rejected; because of something they did or did not do; or information provided by the agent or inspection company was not fully understood; vital information was missing at the time of the request for inspection or not adhered to. It is important these factors are taken into consideration when requesting an PSI as import regulations constantly change and varies from country to country and what was acceptable yesterday is not necessarily true today. Portable appliance testing (PAT) is the term used to describe the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use. Most electrical safety defects can be found by visual examination, but some types of defects can only be found by testing. However, it is essential to understand that visual examination is an essential part of the process because some types of electrical safety defect can't be detected by testing alone. A brief user check (based upon training and assisted using a brief checklist) can be an especially useful part of any electrical maintenance program. Formal visual inspection and testing may also be required at appropriate intervals, depending upon the type of equipment and the environment in which it is used.
