I have arranged an appointment with the garage and vehicle technician Mason, at first the company was very helpful and accommodated with ways to visit us on site in Chelmsford. Considering the garage was approx. 6 miles away from my location in Writtle, an appointment had been agreed for 28th March 2023 at 12.45pm, at 1.20pm I called and was notified that he had forgotten about the time, apologised and offered another appointment slot at 3.30pm through mutual agreement. At 3.30pm, it was a no show. I contacted him again at 3.45pm to find out where he was, he mentioned he is about to leave and another issue arose with paperwork. I then called back after resolving this with the third party and arranged appointment for 4.30pm. I received a call at 5pm with another apology where he had mentioned he came out to site and ran out of battery so had to drive back to charge his phone to contact me. Three no shows in one day, it is very hard to believe that this business is taking their customer or their appointments very seriously. I appreciate there are obstacles but that said, a company should make added effort to manage their appointments well and to inform customers. I have wasted three hours of my time today including rescheduling my meetings to accommodate for this appointment however the only thing they could do was apologise and offered another appointment which would have likely been another no show. Very professional and knowledgable guys with reasonable prices. Originally contacted to fix an intermittent alarm issue which they were very thorough in tracking down and resolving. They have also installed a suspension upgrade, and I will be back in the future. Cheers.

Brilliant service, took vehicle to main dealer but they couldn't provide the service I needed. Guys at CEVE managed to diagnose the issue as my hybrid wouldn't go into EV mode and fixed it within the hour. Solid work, recommend to anyone!

I had an issue with my VW overheating at higher speeds to which I had been to endless amounts of garages to try and diagnose (new radiator, temp sensors and various other parts). It ended up being that a brand new water pump had failed and the impeller had sheered itself from the shaft. Every where else was trying to charge me for a head gasket so I’m over the moon that CEVE were able to diagnose the true issue. I can’t rate the guys high enough! Very professional and meticulous attention to detail! I will be using again if I come into any issues in the future.

I brought my car to this garage to replace an alternater belt and the tensioners, only because it came on top among the nearby garages registered with AA. It took the guy 10 days and about £430 to do the job - neither quick nor cheap. About a month (and about 400 miles) later, one of the two bolts holding one of the tensioners in place gone missing, which caused the other bolt's housing to snap in two places. So I am now in a much bigger trouble. Some more details... A few days after this lousy "repair" was finished, I brought my car for a MOT to another garage, and they discovered 14 error codes - despite the guy at CEVE assured me he had cleared them all. And he lied me that he had called AA to authorise the repair as I asked him to do (so that I would be able to claim the cost of the repair) - AA told me he had not. And he repeatedly suggested that I paid in cash (less VAT), which I declined, but then he gave me his personal bank account details, not the official ones.
