Zee A-D2 StarI booked my MOT between Christmas and new year as my usual mechanic was closed. Big mistake. My MOT failed, and there was nothing they could do on the day to pass it. So many minor things that my usual mechanic would’ve sorted then and there. The one Major repair needed was quoted £300. Not on your life. I got all the parts needed to get the MOT for £42 and my mechanics charged me £80 to repeat the MOT and fix what was needed.

Ricky Barnett1 StarHad my car in for a major service and paid £350 and was told everything was ok with my car bar an advisory on my tyre.
My car has not been the same since and I now have the Engine Management Light on and car is running poorly.
Took it back and was told there was nothing wrong with my car?
Car is now off the road at BMW being serviced and repaired by people who know what they are doing.
Complained to customer services also and not had a response.

I took my car for a full service at Halfords Barking last week and was very disappointed with the experience.
I work for the NHS and hold a blue light card and was advised twice that there would be a discount on the price of the service, this was not the case when I received my invoice.
I also left my service record book on the seat and this had failed to be filled in, which is disappointing considering it is not the closest garage for me to return to and is an important record to be kept.
Finally, the mechanic left plastic and paper coverings in my car which I don't find to be particularly professional.
I tried to sort this out over the phone the next day as I would always prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt. I was promised a phonecall back on Monday 07/02/22 which I never received so I have filled in the customer service form on the website.Wednesday 9th February 2022
