Slikmamba4 StarI had a MOT (an Mot sounds better but apparently it's grammatically incorrect) done as I'd lost all confidence in Nissan.
Halfords is affordable, efficient and quick. Will be using them in future for everything now.
4 stars only because the receptionist told me the centre closes at 1700 and I was delayed at work and almost took an uber 10 minutes away in-between buses as the buses were delayed but i went online and called the office only to be told it closed at 1800.Wednesday 19th January 2022
L M2 StarI took my car here trusting them to give it a full service and they recommended new brake pads and discs. I agreed to this, which was fab.
But I had many problems afterwards with my car.
The traction control light would come on when driving above 30mph, the steering shuddered and it felt like something was sticking in the front right wheel? It was pretty scary!!
I took it back to this Halfords twice and they couldn't find a single problem.
I then took it to a Nissan garage and they found that the brakes were not fitted properly - which I have photos of too. They had to take it apart and put them back on.
Shoddy work on Halfords part. I will definitely not be using again.Thursday 23rd December 2021

Zivana Makouga1 StarMy issue is more with their unreliability and poor customer service than repair skills. Their receptionist booked me in for a specific time and advised me to get a car tow service to take my car (because my car was in no condition to drive). When I arrived, I was told that the technician wasn’t in and they had tried to contact me and couldn’t help me. It turns out the receptionist had written my number down wrong and I was told by the mechanic that “this was not their problem”. Worst customer service I have experienced in a while and shocking level of incompetence.Wednesday 22nd December 2021
