Established in 1998, we have been working in the Commercial and Industrial sector for over 18 years. To remove all existing lighting, power and all other electrical systems within the building. Also, to install a new mains to the building, along with an adequate LV Distribution system consisting of a complete electrical package of various Distribution boards, Lighting, Power, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm and Emergency Lighting. Martin Cook Electrical were tasked with installing a new MID (Measuring Instruments Directive) check meter to a tenants distribution board that was not previusly metered within a large commercial office premises. We also changed a number of check meters that were not MID approved, to new MID approved meters. Martin Cook Electrical carried out an EICR to a large commercial premises in October 2020, and it was highlighted within the observations that there was a fuse that was overheating, and was too rigid to pull out from the fuse carrier. We recommended that the fuse carrier and fuse was investigated further. Martin Cook Electrical carried out an EICR for a large commercial and insutrial premises in September 2020 and located a number of electrical issues within the premises. One part of the remedial works was to replace an old Crabtree C50 board and upgrade it with new cabling, MCB's and RCBO's. This also included a new Main Portective Water Bond. Martin Cook Electrical were asked by a client within Central London to replace an existing Ryefield Panel, various cabling and containment due to a large amount of water ingress and damp within the switchroom as there had been a gradual leak over the last few years.

Kenny replaced our extremely loud bathroom fan which was fitted by the house builders and did a fantastic job, he was efficient, clean and tidy, we couldn’t fault his work. Not only did he do a fantastic job but he also helped me figure out which fan to replace the existing one with. We are so pleased with what he had suggested, it’s lovely and quiet but still very efficient. Will definitely use Martin Cook again!

Martin Cook Electrical Services carried out a number of Electrical Installation Condition Reports and Emergency Lighting annual testing reports in a number of our commercial properties in Bedfordshire. The guys were polite, on time and went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was aware when the power was going off and on. With the tight schedule, the guys worked out of hours and got the jobs done, keeping the communication going throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Martin Cook Electrical Services to anyone who might need them for anything commercial or domestic.

Was recommended to use this company by a consultant, and so glad i did. Met with their representative (James Randall) who is a very nice, friendly and well informed person. He explained the entire process to myself and the client, and quoted in a timely manner. job was instructed and went perfectly well. Now planning on using this company for other electrical works where possible. A nice genuine company that are very honest in their approach.

I’m very impressed with the level of service I got from Kenny and his team at Martin Cook Electrical. I had an urgent electrical issue within my property - within an hour Kenny came out, identified the issue and rectified it within a very short time frame. Kenny was punctual, polite, and most importantly he explained what was going on so I could understand the issue. He even made time for my pets. I will be using Martin Cook Electrical again and recommending Kenny and his team to anyone that requires any form of electrical work.
