I made contact with Ben from SM Mobile Mechanics on a Sunday afternoon after my car wouldn't start. I had already had it looked at by a breakdown company, who said the battery was fine but just needed a recharge. They were wrong! Ben was able to come out the very next day and had it fixed within 30 minutes. He was able to change the battery immediately (the battery couldn't hold charge and therefore needed to be replaced) and ran a full diagnostics check to ensure there were no other issues with the car. The price I paid was very reasonable and I was back on the road in no time. I was very impressed by the service I received and would 100% go back to SM Mobile Mechanics in future if I need assistance with anything car related. Ben was also able to come out to my home and fix my car which made my life so much easier and meant I didn't need to take time off work, trying to get my car to and from a garage. Thanks again.

My reverse gear wasn't working properly. I went to a mechanic to get this checked and was told that my clutch needs replacing. So I went online to shop around and SM Mobile was the best option. Ben checked the car and called me to say that the problem wasn't the clutch it was the gearbox oil that needed change( a lot cheaper than charging the clutch).This fixed the issue. Also ,excellent service and friendly chap.

Used S M Mobile Mechanics again following a previous great experience. Ben is very approachable, knowledgeable and efficient. His diagnostic ability is super and best thing is he explains what’s going on and doesn’t try to up-sell. As a non-motor person this is very reassuring. The end price was as quoted and very reasonable. Very happy with the service.
