I've used The Handy Squad a few times for my tenants and have always been pleased but unfortunately this time we did not have a good experience. The plumber they sent was rude, used bad language, left a mess and bizarrely started to try and rework the plumbing of a blocked sink - something the replacement plumber I had to send in had sorted within 15 mins using a plumbing snake. He then told us that the exterior drain was blocked - it was not - so I'm awaiting a call out charge from the managing agent of my block. The other repair he did to the toilet has already failed and needs to be redone. After receiving a big bill without actually getting any work completed successfully I raised this with The Handy Squad HQ and was met with an abrupt response and questioning the integrity of my (long time) tenants. So unfortunately I cannot recommend and won't be using for future repair needs in my rentals.

I used the Handy Squad many, many times over many years and recommended them to many others. In the last two years however, the quality of the handymen sent to me came down considerably and the responsiveness of the office staff really went downhill too. The last two repairs had to have remedial action as they were badly botched, leaving damage on the walls and on a garden shed. and the last interactions with the office staff were really rude. I'm very sad as it used to be a brilliant service, but I can no longer recommend them. Look elsewhere for dedicated, professional handy-people.

Got in touch with Handy Squad for a couple of repairs and paintings I needed for my flat, the team booked the initial onsite visit immediately for me from their busy schedule. Mike did an excellent job with top quality and being very fair, highly recommend. And thank you handy squad.
