Had my consumer unit replaced last week (pictured below) and am very pleased with the work. Vince is very knowledgeable and meticulous in his methods and will not cut corners, and happy to take the time to explain. Competitive prices to boot. Also had a look at a separate issue I had in the conservatory free of charge. Upon taking his advice I managed to find a workaround and got that issue fixed myself, saving a pretty penny there too :) (It was behind the wall as you suspected Vince!) Suffice it to say will be calling again and highly recommended.

Where do I start? Having an intermittent problem with your electrics can be an absolute nightmare and trust me it was for us. Having spoken to 2 other electricians, they suggested expensive changes that only now after having VK electrical, have found out that would have been futile. Vince came out and did a full assessment of our home, electrics system spending time checking every circuit and investigating the issue thoroughly. He found the issue to be an old lighting system that the previous owners had had in the garden, but hadn’t been disconnected from the main electric supply. Therefore every time the system got damp, it would short out the electric system. As this was an old electrical system, we wasn’t even aware that it was still part of the house electrics, Vince from his methodical, isolation of systems, found that this old network was wired into one of the many plug sockets on the ground floor of a property. This is it a problem that has been part of our four years of owning this home and only now has it been found and isolated by VK Electrical services Ltd. I cannot thank Vince enough and his experience and expertise have definitely been so apparent in his investigative works throughout my property. I am so glad that I did not go with any of the advice of the other two electricians that I spoke to as the work that they were suggesting would not have solved the issue, but only prolonged a pain and stress we have had over the past 4 years. I will never go anywhere else now and will only contact Vince going forward. Thank you so much for your diligence, expertise and knowledge I don’t know where we would’ve been without you.

Vince knight, Great chap listened to my concerns and advised me accordingly. Good communication from start to finish. Arrived on time and finished on time as arranged. No mess all old parts taken away. And quoted me Happy. Will definitely use again and Would definitely recommend. One very happy customer 👍 (before and after photos bellow )

Very impressed with the speed of service from Vince and his son. They arrived on time ,dealt with my burnt out socket and replaced a new RCD fuse box at my request. Extremely polite and explained jobs before and after completion. Very happy with the level of service provided. And yes, he is on my number one list for any electrical work

Called up and got an appointment straight away which was fantastic as all others I had called were giving me 1-2 weeks wait time! No charge out fee which was brilliant as again all other company’s were charging around £90 just to come out and check what was wrong! Turned up on time, got the job done in 25 minutes, reasonably priced, polite and very professional. Will be using again if needed and would highly recommend.
